First Day Tasks

As you’re working through this process, please share any feedback you have - good, bad, neutral, whatever - as replies. We’re always looking to improve the process, so any feedback is greatly appreciated.

Before Your First Day

  • Confirm your start date and time with HR.
  • Ensure you have access to your company email.
  • Review your onboarding schedule.

First Day

  • Attend welcome meeting with your team.
  • Get your ID badge and equipment from IT.
  • Set up work station and access necessary software.
  • Introduction to company culture and values.

First Week

  • Meet with your mentor for a catch-up.
  • Complete mandatory training sessions.
  • Familiarize yourself with the company handbook and policies.
  • Start working on initial tasks and projects.

First Month

  • Schedule a one-on-one with your manager to discuss progress and feedback.
  • Engage with different departments to understand their roles.
  • Participate in team building activities.
  • Set short-term and long-term goals with your manager.
